Back in September he was arrested for public intoxication and vandalism after he went a little crazy at Patrick Carney’s wedding, but now Shaun White is in the clear, legally speaking.
The 26-year-old Olympic snowboarder seems to have done everything necessary to make restitution for his wrongs, and the court has dropped the charges against him.
According to the Nashville District Attorney
General’s office, “White's attorney submitted to the Court the proof
that White completed his required community service work. Upon that
submission, the public intoxication charge was dismissed. (Another
condition was that he undergo alcohol assessment, which he had already
completed and proof of that was submitted at a prior court date.) White
was not in court today.”
The statement continued, "The vandalism charge was already dismissed back in November when his attorney provided proof that restitution had been paid."
And Shaun’s spokesperson added, "All matters in regard to the recent incident in Nashville have been resolved ... Additionally, prior media reports stating that Shaun was required to participate in any alcohol treatment or rehab program were false."
