Working hard on her hit Fox show, Zooey Deschanel filmed "New Girl" on her birthday in Los Angeles on Thursday (January 17).
The 33-year-old actress looked cute as ever in a navy pea coat, black tights, and purple flats as cameras captured her on a chase and trying to scare some cats off of a car.
Not discouraged by working on her special day,
the internet-savvy star tweeted, "Today I turned 33 and I worked with a
bunch of cats. Dreams apparently DO come true" with a photo of the
felines chilling on a car.
Enjoying the change of pace, Zooey also tweeted a photo of a decidedly dour looking cat with the caption, "My costar today."
