Report: Anne Hathaway to Star in "The Taming of the Shrew" Adaptation

Fresh off her Golden Globes win, Anne Hathaway is set to star in an adaptation of “The Taming of the Shrew,” according to reports released by The Wrap on Monday (January 14).

The “Les Miserables” actress will probably play the leading role of Katherina, the shrew, whose life is turned upside down when she's forced into marriage.

Originally written by Shakespeare, the screenplay will likely take place in Italy in the mid-twentieth century.
