Kris Allen Injured in Car Accident

 

The new year has not started on a good note for Kris Allen, as he and his wife Katy were involved in a head on collision on Tuesday (January 1).
The season eight “American Idol” winner suffered a broken arm, according to his mother Kimberly Allen’s Twitter feed, where she posted a picture along with updates.

“Kristopher and Katy are both pretty beat up but ALIVE! Thank you Jesus! They are setting his arm now and will have surgery tomorrow,” she tweeted.
Kimberly later posted another update from the rocker himself, “From Kris: he's in a lot of pain, arm broke, may not play guitar for a while. Prayers welcome please!”
