After the release of his acclaimed film "On the Road," Garrett Hedlund took time to cover the February 2013 issue of DETAILS magazine.
The 28-year-old actor looked handsome in Diesel Black Gold and 55DSL for the Mark Seliger shot front page while opening up about everything from writing to his relationship with actress Kirsten Dunst.
On his relationship:
"Everything you ever knew seems to slowly be forgotten. All the good nights are just nights, all the good mornings are just mornings, all the dots in the sky are the same dots you've been looking at all your life."
On being a writer:
"I spill it out as fast as I can. I don't really edit. In Brazil, recently, I wrote 70 pages. In London, 80 pages."
On his high school hangout:
"I'd hang out at the Borders Bookstore until it closed and then I would stick the book back on the shelf until the next day. That was safe. No one was going to buy three copies of [Charles] Bukowski's Tales of Ordinary Madness by the next afternoon."
