Taking their massively successful flick overseas, the cast of “Django Unchained” showed up at the UK premiere in London, England today (January 10).
Director Quentin Tarantino joined stars Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington, Christoph Waltz, and Samuel L. Jackson at the Empire Leicester Square for some photographs before heading inside for the screening.
Meanwhile, it seems the “Django Unchained” action
figures released in conjunction with the film have been deemed
‘offensive’ by the National Action Network.
Reverend K.W. Tulloss told press, “Selling this doll is highly offensive to our ancestors and the African American community. The movie is for adults, but these are action figures that appeal to children. We don’t want other individuals to utilize them for their entertainment, to make a mockery of slavery.”
