The holiday season and pregnancy are great excuses for guilt-free eating but Malin Akerman knows that the healthier your diet when expecting... the better.
The Swedish actress stocked up on vegetables, healthy grains and lean meats at upscale Gelson's supermarket in Hollywood on Thursday.
Wearing a black tracksuit over her blooming bump, the blonde went for added comfort with a pair of leggings.
With her hair flowing loose, the beauty was still noticeable despite her low-key attire. The Rock of Ages star, who is expecting her first child with husband Roberto Zincone, has said she has been taking it easy and not stressing over impending motherhood.
And after some early morning sickness Malin also said her pregnancy couldn't be going more smoothly.
'I feel great!' the 34-year-old told Us Weekly: 'They say that your second trimester is when you get most of your energy and it's the 'easiest' part of the pregnancy.'
'Now I kind of feel like my body has acclimated a little bit,' the actress explained. 'The last three months, I think it must feel heavy. That's what I’m guessing.'
And Malin and her husband of five years, drummer in the rock band The Pedalstones Roberto Zincone, couldn't be more thrilled to finally be expanding their family.
Speaking to Us Weekly in September, she said: 'We took the goalie out of the net and said, 'Let's see what happens.' Because you never know how long it's going to take. We got lucky.'
'He's so excited. So excited,' she added. 'We've been together long enough, we've talked about it enough that it just feels really right and we can't wait.'
