Harrison Ford and Bella Thorne don aprons to dole out Christmas Eve meals to the homeless
Bella Thorne,

This time of year is all about giving, and Harrison Ford and Bella Thorne did just that on the night before Christmas.
One
doesn't usually see a legend such as Harrison Ford wearing an apron,
but duty called while serving up a hot Christmas Eve meal to the
homeless at the Los Angeles Mission.
Harrison
was just one of the celebrities who took time out to participate in the
annual star-studded event to feed the homeless on Monday.
The 70-year-old Star Wars hunk stood
on his feet for hours as he doled out portions of creamy mashed potatoes
to the thousands of people who lined up.
But Harrison took it all in his stride and seemed more than happy to help.
Harrison wore his red Los Angeles Mission apron over a cosy black jumper and green scarf.
He had to be in downtown LA bright and early in the morning, and no doubt was wise to bundle up.
The actor even wore his signature baseball cap that was perched jauntily on his greying hair.
Bella Thorne, meanwhile, was a festive sight with her long red hair and warm smile.
She wore a navy and red holiday jumper over yellow print blouse and a grey rose hat.
The 15-year-old Shake It Up! star was in charge of serving the cooked carrots and she did so with speed and a courteous manner.
Other
celebrities on hand to take part in the organisations's annual event,
which began at 10:45am, included Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin.
Former child star Danielle Fishel
also took part, along with actress Melissa Gilbert who happily posed
with Thirtysomething star Timothy Busfield.
Olivia Holt also showed up at the event to play server, looking smashing in her red apron along with a chic chef's hat.
There was even a Santa who presented to the guests gifts and toys that were generously donated.
