A tough touring schedule can take a toll on anyone's voice, and Friday night (December 14) Carrie Underwood suffered the loss of her voice mid-concert.
After about 90 minutes into her concert at the Iowa Events Center, the country crooner told the crowd, "I feel real guilty about making any money on this show tonight… So whatever I’m making is just going to go right back into this community. I feel that's the right thing to do.”
The signs of trouble came at the earlier gig in Chicago. After the show, she tweeted, "Sweet Chicago! You were amazing tonight! I've officially lost my voice!!! I guess my day off tomorrow will be spent at the doctor! #noshots!"
Unfortunately, one day wasn't enough to fully recover. Following the struggle at the Iowa show, she went ahead and cancelled Saturday night's Kansas City concert.
