While Oscar buzz continues to swirl around his performance in "Silver Linings Playbook," Bradley Cooper sat down with Scott Feinberg from The Hollywood Reporter to talk about his life and career. Check out highlights from the interview below.
On his professional acting start upon moving to New York City: "I was very lucky. I didn't realize how lucky. I was working as a doorman and I booked a pilot before I booked 'Sex & the City.' It was 'Wall-to-Wall Records' with Beau Bridges' son, Jordan Bridges."

On assuming he'd find work as a dramatic actor only: "For some reason I didn't think I would ever be able to make people laugh."
On his Broadway debut in "Three Days of Rain": "It was a do or die moment for me actually... I remember thinking 'if this doesn't work, maybe I'm not right for this business.'"
On working with "Silver Linings Playbook" co-star Jennifer Lawrence: "She's incredible. I did two movies already with her because I'm not stupid."
Expect big things for Bradley Cooper as awards season gets underway. He's already been nominated for a Golden Globe, two Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards, an Independent Spirit Award, a People's Choice Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
