Giving a shy smile to photographers, Katie Holmes exited the Music Box Theater in New York City after performing one of her last weekend shows for "Dead Accounts" on Friday (January 4).
The "Dawson's Creek" star wore a pink sweater, wool peacoat, and jeans as she faced a crowd of eager fans outside.
Unfortunately, poor ticket sales caused the show
to end seven weeks earlier than planned. Last week, "Dead Accounts"
made under 25 percent of its potential takings and only filled 38.1
percent of its seats.
Perhaps the closing is a blessing, freeing up Katie to concentrate on Suri and her personal life. The 34-year-old actress recently had to deny rumors she was dating Jake Gyllenhaal.
