Joseph Gordon-Levitt Confirms Role in "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For"

This past year was undoubtedly a major stepping stone in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's career after starring in box office hits including “The Dark Knight Rises” and “Lincoln,” and it looks like the hits keep coming for the former child star.
According to Deadline, the 31-year-old actor announced that he will star in the next installment of Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s graphic novel hits, “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.”

“Sin City” premiered in 2005 and fans of the comic book series are thrilled for the highly anticipated sequel.
Joseph has signed on to portray a character names Johnny who is “a cocky gambler who disguises a darker mission to destroy his most foul enemy at his best game,” according to a press release for the film.
The “Premium Rush” star took to Twitter to confirm the news, writing, “This one's no mere rumor and it's gonna be fun as f***."
“Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” is slated to hit theaters on October 4.
