James Bond To Receive Tribute at 85th Academy Awards

It’s one of the most beloved franchises of the film industry, and The James Bond legacy will be honored at the Academy Awards next month.
According to Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, the 50th anniversary of 007 is the perfect time to fete the sublime spy series.

They explained, "We are very happy to include a special sequence on our show saluting the Bond films on their 50th birthday."
"Starting with Dr. No back in 1962, the 007 movies have become the longest-running motion picture franchise in history and a beloved global phenomenon."
2012's "Skyfall," starring Daniel Craig, was the latest installment and scored plenty of box office records as well.
