Over 30 years after "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour" delighted audiences in the '70s, Cher may be returning to the small screen.
It was announced at the Television Critics Association presentation on Saturday (January 5) that the 66-year-old singer-actress has signed a deal with LGTB-themed network Logo for a pilot set in early 1960s Hollywood.

Earlier this week, the gay icon launched a multi-post Twitter rant about critics of the film about the pursuit of Osama Bin Laden, "Zero Dark Thirty."
On Friday she tweeted, "Katherine Bigelow is a GREAT DIRECTOR & we DID Torture ppl in The 2 Wars! Why is the Government ATTACKING HER FILM ? 'ZERO DARK THIRTY'."
Afterwards, she added, "WHAT ARE THEY SO AFRAID OF ! Why are They having an investigation of the CIA & blaming her film for that investigation ? In 1 breath they Say Her film in not factual , then they start an investigation because of it ! We ALL KNOW The 2 Amendment is “Sacrosanct” WHAT ABOUT THE FIRST AMENDMENT !! WE Tested Syphilis on Unsuspecting Black Men without their knowledge! We put The Japanese in internment camps ! We HAVE Made Mistakes ,Hidden them & Then BEEN TRULY SORRY. Some think Torture was Right Some think it WAS WRONG,BUT DON’T SHOOT THE MESSENGER !"
Finally, Cher ended with, "I’ve got to go , but I’m more than ready to Discuss this subject LATER! WE ARE A GREAT COUNTRY ! NOT A PERFECT ONE !"
