Rihanna toasted the good life with a cocktail in the pool while enjoying the holidays in her native Barbados.
The pop star, 24, was snapped relaxing in her rented water-front villa chatting on the phone with a drink to hand.
The Instagram snap shows the spectacular view from the property where she stayed with friends and family. The cute frame, which shows her wearing a turquoise one-piece swimsuit, was believed to be taken on December 21.
She took to Twitter today to post was appears to be an old picture of herself wearing Santa hat and fatigues while with friends.
She wrote: 'Santa baby! Hurry down the chimney tonight! Is it too late to be nice?'
Rihanna, who has had an on-again off-again relationship with Chris Brown, checked out of the Barbados home she had been renting in recent weeks on Christmas Eve.
The move came days after police were called to the property when a man was found trespassing.
Her staff became alarmed after a man - believed to be a German national - wandered on to the grounds.
Police in Barbados have since told TMZ that the man mistook the private home as public property. He wasn't arrested.
