The troubled and nearly-broke Lindsay Lohan used Charlie Sheen's $100,000 donation to pay off her mammoth back federal tax bill in full ... for 2009.
The bad news is that she's also behind on 2010 and 2011 ... LiLo problems.
According to the IRS, LiLo paid her outstanding 2009 tax bill for $93,701 in full, thanks to Charlie's check, and applied the extra $6,299 to 2010 tax bill. She owes Uncle Sam $140,203 for that tax year ... now only $133,904!
Lindsay's still on the hook for her 2011 taxes too, of course, but she's actively trying to raise money to get herself out of the red as soon as possible.
Until then, the IRS has frozen her assets.
If it weren't for Sheen, she'd be even worse off. Charlie gave Lindsay a six-figure check on the spot after Lindsay told him about her dire situation this year.
Pretty nice of him ... then again he used to get paid tens of millions for Two and a Half Men somehow and has another successful show in Anger Management.
