Drake, who is often credited with popularizing the shortened, acronym version of "You only live once," hinted Tuesday that he wants a cut of these profits.
Specifically, the Canadian rapper called out Macy's and Walgreens.

The 26-year-old rapper posted an Instagram shot of several "YOLO" hats for sale, writing, "Walgreens... you gotta either chill or cut the cheque."
Somehow, we doubt the cheque is in the mail.
He also called out another major retailer, posting an Instagram shot of "YOLO" on a Charlie Brown T-shirt, quipping, "Macy's... same goes for you."

Drake popularized "YOLO" in his 2011 hit "The Motto," featuring Lil Wayne. He's rumored to be trying to trademark it, but that hasn't been confirmed.
Nor is it clear if he was even the first person to use it, or how serious he is about Macy's and Walgreens coughing up royalties from their YOLO gear sales.
In any case, that's where we are right now.
Macy's can't catch a break this Christmas season. Between this and the Dump Trump petition, it's like everybody's got beef with the popular holiday retailer.
